As many of you will know GameGuru uses a community voting board to choose the next big feature we work on and in the last round the community voted overwhelmingly for a graphics engine overhaul, which means porting the existing DirectX 9 engine over to DirectX 11. After two months of work, progress is good and we can already report much faster loading times and terrain rendering in our early builds. There is still plenty more to do and lots of new assets to source. Those interested in the technical side can follow the development blog.
