Today we are pleased to announce the release of the new terrain texturing system, upgrading the current 4 texture limit to a whopping 16 textures and a new UI panel to manage selection and customization. The update also brings a host of tweaks to further improve the Building Editor and introduces entities and scripts for switches and remote doors to keep your game making options expanding.
For new users, we have also replaced the regular green flat terrain you see when GameGuru first launches with a nicer landscape containing undulating hills, water bodies and vegetation to give you somewhere more interesting to build your first game levels.
This latest upgrade is part of our wider and long term commitment to adding in feature requests nominated via the GameGuru Community Voting Board. Keep voting on your ‘must haves’ for 2017!
