TheGameCreators have today announced that RPG World has been transferred out to Dave Milton, its original developer and is now under his full control.

TheGameCreators decided to separate RPG World from its product range earlier this year in order to concentrate their efforts on a smaller range of products, and were delighted when the developer agreed to take the product on independently.

Launched in March 2017 and transitioned to a free-to-play model in 2018, RPG World has seen significant development including an in-depth questing system, 12,500 items of loot, multiple factions, an enormous array of objects, enemies and NPCs (which can all be painted), 1-click sharing of your game on Steam for others to play and a Character Creator that enables you to build, paint and set stats with AI for your own enemies and NPCs.

Lee Bamber, CEO of TheGameCreators, said today, "The potential for RPG World is massive, it’s a product that allows anyone to craft and share their own 3D RPG Game without the need to learn code or construct 3D models. We are looking forward to seeing how Dave develops the game in the years to come and wish him total success with it."

Lee Bamber added "We want to say a big thank you to the RPG World community who have been creative and encouraging throughout the development of RPG World. I know Dave (aka Ravey) is going to make a massive success of taking RPG World to the next stage (and beyond) and having worked on the game from day one is best placed to making the RPG game making adventure as rewarding as it is fun."

Dave Milton said, "The agreement with TheGameCreators is complete and, with full control of the product, development is underway for the first update at the end of this month. I'll be the first to admit there is a lot of work ahead of me and, as I'm a small team of one, it will take some time to deliver all the features requested, but in my experience there is no greater motivation than to pit yourself against a mighty challenge."
