As the release of V1.13 looms, testing enters the final stage and we are looking forward to launching the much awaited Save & Load Feature for Standalone Games. It means we will be able to take down an item from the voting board and promote the next highest to the top spot for immediate implementation, which as it stands right now looks to be the Easy Building Editor, plus a few other treats I have waiting in the wings for you. More on this from my dev blogs throughout April.

During my extensive testing of GameGuru, I did get the opportunity to play all the sample levels, including the new Scifi Pack level and was struck by the quality of this DLC and the small game that was created with it.  It's at these times the game designer comes out to play, only to be hustled back into his cave by the professional side of the coders brain that needs to keep the testing effort on track.  That said, I felt it was only right to complete all the sample games to the end :)

As you may know, the forthcoming V1.13 update will include an early alpha version of the FBX import functionality via the FILE > IMPORT MODEL feature, which can now import static meshes from MAX, MAYA and a few other sources, and in specific cases, some animated skinned models too.  The latter is a pretty large field so will take a few iterations to get through, but if you have an FBX model you would sorely like to see import into GameGuru, please email them directly to lee@thegamecreators..com as the more test models are put through the importer, the stronger it will be for the long term.
