Step 1 - Your Details

We require the following details from you regardless of your method of submission:

• Game name and version number (see below)
• Your full name (not your TGC forum name)
• Your postal address, including country of residence
• Your email address
• Your TGC forum name (if you have one)

We respect your privacy. This information is for competition administration purposes only.

Game Name: Choose a name for your entry that will help distinguish it from other entries. It will also help us identify if you have uploaded a newer version of the same entry.

Version number: We often find that developers send us their entries, then frantically email saying "I've made an update / found a bug, can I send a new version?". If the deadline hasn't expired then the answer is: Yes! But we will use the game name and version number to determine what is the most recent version you've sent us. So the first time you send us a entry you put: Version 1. If you send us another version, put: Version 2. And so on. You can submit your entry as many times as you like, just make sure you keep increasing this version number, because we'll use it to work out what the final version of your entry was.

Step 2 - ZIP it all up

Using whatever program you like (winzip, winrar, etc), create a single ZIP file of your entry. Make sure you have included everything - the source code, the exe file, all media it needs, etc. You cannot use any other compression format other than .ZIP. Once compressed, check the zip file is below the maximum allowed size. Also unzip it and check it works before submitting.

Step 3 - Send your entry to us

You have various options available:

Upload Form. The preferred method is to use the upload form below to submit your entry, you will get an email receipt to confirm we have received your entry successfully.

Email Attachment. If your entry is small enough for your email system to handle, then you can email it to us. Send the zip file to: compofiles@thegamecreators.com. We will reply to acknowledge receipt. You must include your full name, postal address (including country), game name and version number in your email if you choose this method.

Web Space. If you have your own web site you can upload your game there, then email TGC at compofiles@thegamecreators.com with a link to download it from. You must include your full name, postal address (including country), game name and version number in your email if you choose this method.

Step 4 - Intel Atom Developer Program

What if I need to send another version?

No problem. Just increment the 'Version' number and re-send it to us using any of the methods stated. Be sure to use the same game name as you used previously so we can detect the change in version.
