Reflections

Three reflection techniques are open to you, one of which is just one command. DarkBASIC Professional allows you to create a stencil reflection which uses the shape of an object to cut a hole in the scene, and then render a reflection of that scene inside it based on the angle of the object. The reflection will re-render everything in your scene including BSP levels, landscapes, particles and all objects. If you want more speed from your reflections you can use cube mapping and multiple camera rendering to produce efficient 'fake' reflections, a technique used widely in modern games.
